Thiruvalluvar says “The most
valuable wealth of a man is his knowledge, which
cannot be destroyed; all other riches that he
has gained are not considered to be wealth at all.”
Knowledge is eternal, similar to Amritam or Amutham.
Just like how anyone who has had Amutham lives
forever, anyone who gains knowledge remains
knowledgeable forever. The name Amutha Surabhi
has origins from the Tamil epic Manimekalai and
means "the bowl of abundance". Amutha Surabhi
gives food forever and it never empties, so
Manimekalai could feed the needy continuously.
Jothikani AmuthaSurabhi is an institution of knowledge
that has a similar vision – to continuously, tirelessly,
and unconditionally feed the appetite of the mind.
Knowledge is Power !
Jothikani AmuthaSurabhi institute ensures that
each student achieves intellectual and personal
excellence, and is well prepared for college
and career pathways. It provides a learning
environment to develop students' ability to
think, improve their potential, and hone their
knowledge and skills.
Jothikani AmuthaSurabhi believes in :
☆
When One teaches, two Learn.
- Robert Heinlein
☆
Teachers have three loves : love of learning,
love of learners, and the love of bringing the
first two loves together.
